Lisnave was once Portugal’s biggest shipyard, located in an excellent geographical position, at the crossing point of the major global trade shipping routes. Operating from the 60s in Lisbon area and employing almost 11 thousand people, it was a reference point for the city. It eventually closed down in 2000 leaving the area completely abandoned.
