Housing in Ex Saffa area in Venice, designed by Gregotti Associati in 1981-85 and 1998-2001.
The area was once occupied by a match-manufacturing factory that was eventually dismissed in the 50s. The residential complex design is inspired by the city traditional architecture and recalls the typical Venetian urban structure organized around narrow streets , "calli", and small squares, "campi".
